1. What services do you offer?
Noval Bloom offers three categories of non-medical, in-home support:
Noval Nourish: Postpartum meal preparation and delivery
Noval Clean: Recovery-supportive home cleaning
Noval Care: Companion support services (in-home and virtual) for emotional presence and light practical help
We also offer Grief Co-ordination and Care packages to support families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss.

2. Are your services clinical or medical?
No. Our services are non-clinical and non-medical. We do not provide nursing, personal care, or therapy. Our focus is emotional presence, practical support, and a nurturing environment during times of transition.
3. How do I book a service?
You can book directly by calling or sending in your request and choosing a time for the consultation that works for you to discuss your needs. Some services (like Virtual Companion Support) include a short intake form so we can match you with the right team member. You can also give us a call for more information or to customize your services.
4. Can I customize a service package?
Absolutely. We offer standalone services and bundled packages. You can add-on options like extra hours, laundry folding, or grocery pickup. Our team is happy to help build a plan that fits your needs.
5. How do payments work?
All services must be prepaid at the time before receiving a confirmation email. After the consultation, you will receive the quote and visit summary to review and process via credit card/debit or e-transfer options. Payment confirms your agreement to our Terms of Service and Code of Conduct. You will then receive the payment confirmation along with dates to select for your visit. Our team will walk you through and answer any questions you may have during the entire process.
6. Do you offer support for grieving families or pregnancy loss?
Yes. We provide grief coordination, companion presence, and custom care packages for individuals and families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss. These services are approached with sensitivity, care, and lived experience. For me information, click here
7. Are your team members trained or screened?
Absolutely. Every Noval Bloom companion, cleaner, and cook receives training directly from us and commits to strict confidentiality agreements. We carefully select our team members for their emotional presence, professionalism, and dependability. All independent contractors undergo comprehensive vetting, including background checks.
8. Can I request a specific companion or service provider?
You are welcome to share your preferences when booking, and we will do our best to match you with a companion who fits your needs and schedule. While we strive to honour your wishes, please understand that we cannot guarantee a specific companion due to availability and other factors.
9. Where do you provide services?
We are proud to offer our compassionate services to families in Hamilton, Toronto (GTA), Oakville, Vaughan, Kitchener, and the surrounding communities. For those throughout Ontario, our heartfelt virtual support is readily available. If you’re located outside these areas, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to explore how we can support your family’s unique needs. Your well-being is our priority, no matter where you are.
10. What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand that life happens.
Cancellations with 48+ hours’ notice are eligible for rescheduling and refund- processing fees..
Cancellations made within 24-48 hours. You may request to reschedule, subject to contractor availability.
Refunds will not be issued, but credit may be applied toward a future booking.

Cancellations Under 24 Hours or No-Shows
No refunds or credits will be issued to honour our staffing commitments and ensure consistent and reliable care for all families.
We appreciate your understanding and aim to provide compassionate support whenever you need it.
11. Can I buy services for someone else (e.g., a gift)?
Yes! We offer gift cards that can be purchased and sent to anyone in need of our support. These gift cards can be applied as a discount toward our services; recipients simply need to call us and provide their card details to redeem. Additionally, you may purchase service packages for your friends and family, then share their contact information with us to schedule the service or have them reach out directly to schedule services.
12. Are your services covered by insurance or benefits?
Currently, our services are not covered under OHIP or most private insurance plans. However, certain health or workplace benefit programs may offer reimbursement for wellness or postpartum support. We encourage you to verify coverage with your insurer or plan administrator to confirm if these services are covered before booking.
We are actively pursuing options to make our services eligible for such reimbursements and will keep you informed of any developments.
